Somah and I approached Alysia with a colour scheme and a few pictures of how we envisioned our wedding. We wanted to be different, unique and have the WOW factor. At times it seemed like we wanted the impossible, yet somehow Alysia managed to make magic happen and exceeded our wildest dreams. Somah and I could go on about how amazing Alysia’s work is, but we think the pictures speak for themselves. What stood out the most for us, and why we consider her such a blessing was that she took what was our dream and vision and treated it as if it were her own. She went above and beyond what was required of her to make the whole process not only stress free but also fun. We considered Alysia our friend, and not our wedding planner. We were able to go to her with any questions or issues, regardless of the time, and she would make time for us. No problem was ever too big, and she continually went out of her way to ensure we always had the best outcome. Somah and I both agree that having Alysia plan our wedding was the best decision we had made.

Alysia, we cannot thank you enough. When I walked down that aisle, I felt like I was living in a dream. Everything was so much more perfect than you had described. I didn’t think it could get any better than that, but I was so wrong. I still get teary and goosebumps when I think about the reception room reveal. Words can’t describe all the emotions I felt when we finally got to see all your hard work come together. To have you and the entire team that brought our dream to life there was definitely one of the highlights of our night and that moment is something that I will cherish forever. Thank you for all your dedication, hard work, for all the extra things you did for us just because, and for treating our dream as if it was your own. We are forever grateful and am so glad we put our trust in you. If I could do it again, I would in a heart beat and there would not be one thing I would change. It was perfection and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. You are amazing and we are so blessed to have had you plan the most important day of our lives.

As a large independent College, we rely on the success of community fundraising events to provide funds to capital works programs.
